Do You Need to Stretch Every Day?
DAILY PRACTICE / STRETCHING

You can make a big difference with just a little bit.
Try five minutes. Begin with a normal breath and a little movement through the spine. Open the hips and legs. Move the shoulders and upper body. Finish with one stretch or movement that feels useful today.
Don't make every position as deep as possible. The routine can stay familiar while the range changes.
Some days you may want more. Other days the five minutes are the practice.
I've learned that consistency works better for me when it isn't a test of how much I can accomplish. It becomes a way of checking in, making a small adjustment, and keeping the relationship with movement active.
A daily practice doesn't have to prove anything. It just needs to give you somewhere useful to return.
I like daily practices because they give us a reference.
Getting active every day and ways to make it happen:
Ways to Make Mini Workouts a Part of Your Life: Here are some simple recommendations for making mini workouts a regular part of your life:
Schedule It: Just like an appointment or meeting, add your activity directly to your calendar. Make it a habit to exercise each day. Keep a daily exercise notification on your calendar as a reminder to get moving!
Get a Workout Buddy: Working out with a friend, family member, or fitness professional can provide added motivation, and the knowledge that someone is waiting for you at a certain time or place can add to your dedication.
Three 10-Minute Sessions: Three 10-minute sessions of physical activity can provide the same benefits as one continuous 30-minute session. For example, try taking 10-minutes in the morning, afternoon, and evening to do some form of activity, such as 10-minutes of bodyweight exercises (push-ups, crunches, lunges, squats, etc.) in the morning, a 10-minute brisk walk during your lunch break at work, and 10-minutes of yoga-inspired stretching in the evening.
In conclusion, mini workouts can be a great way to improve your health and stay active, even if you have a busy schedule. By incorporating short bouts of exercise into your day, you can reap the benefits of physical activity without having to spend hours at the gym. So, get moving and start enjoying the benefits of mini workouts today!
If I do something once, I know how it felt once. If I return to it regularly, I start noticing patterns. Morning can feel different from evening. Monday can feel different from Friday. A familiar movement can tell you when the body feels ready and when it needs more time.
That doesn't mean everyone needs a long stretching routine every day.
